Who am I?

As an established makeup artist, I have over 18 years’ experience, initially self-taught which I then want on to get qualified to enable me to work in the beauty industry. I’ve worked for numerous brands such as Bobbi Brown, Benefit Cosmetics, NARS cosmetics and the like. Since then, I than started to work freelance for numerous platforms such as Urban Massage, Wecasa and Uspaah and developed a strong clientele resulting in an impressive rating. I am so passionate, not just about the makeup artistry and cosmetics themselves, but also building a strong rapport and client satisfaction. The feeling of a client being so happy with the services I provide never gets old and that is ultimately what I strive for with each and every client of mine. My Ethos

I don’t believe every makeup artist knows everything and I make no exception. I take a collaborative approach with my clients so I truly understand their needs and wants and will work with you to provide your desired outcome.

Though makeup is an art form, it’s also scientific. I will always have an open approach and flexible work approach to adapting a service to your needs as one cosmetic is not one for all and needs tailoring to different skin types.

I’m a strong believer in clean beauty and artistry. The type of cosmetics I use are fundamental to the service I provide and as such, select only the best products which will deliver not just on look but performance too. Whilst the majority of high end brands are in my kit, there will be lower end brands in there too and fundamentally it’s because they’re better performing. Why I chose Make-Up?

When I first came out, I was living above a cabaret bar that had so much glitter and glam but what really intrigued me was all the bright colours and sparkle. After a while I got so intrigued by it, I started to play with makeup and a fascination and passion for makeup was born. Every day I would just pick up brushes and start creating a look for no reason at all and it was all those days, over years, that truly developed my artistry. After several different jobs, I couldn’t really decide what stuck and I was getting fed up of being in a job I wasn’t passionate about. Makeup was the only thing that I truly was passionate about so I decided in that moment, that’s what I’m going to do.
